America's Wildlife™ Series

What happens when you marry authentic American Hickory with a sculptured knob depicting one of America's most treasured wildlife species? You get an heirloom class, one-of-a kind hiking stick - and it's also a camera pod!

Internationally famous wildlife artist Dave Morales has created life-like sculptures of America's favorite wildlife species, and puts the paw-print (or feather) of that animal on the back-side of the knob. Dave's original sculpture is captured for you in a custom casting made from alabaster stone & resin that is as beautiful as it is durable - this is one tough knob, made to go wherever you want to take it!

Camera Pod Feature - Unscrew the knob and your hiking stick becomes a Mono-Pod for your camera, binoculars or spotting scope! Some of the best wildlife and landscape photos are taken early in the day or just before sunset, when (because of the available light) slower shutter speeds create a real blur problem for cameras that are not on tripods. Unfortunately most of us don't bother to carry a heavy tri-pod on a hike - but many of us wouldn't go anywhere without our hiking sticks. Here's the solution. The mono-pod feature holds your camera steady for that perfect shot. Awesome!

Each Wildlife Knob has the animal on one side and the paw-print of that animal on the opposite side (Eagle has eagle feathers on opposing side). Complete with long-life rubber tip, leather wrist strap, descriptive hang-tag.

The Classic™ Series

These rustic sticks are hand selected, dried in our drying house for 6-8 weeks, straightened, sanded, weatherproofed and fitted with rubber tips and leather wrist straps. Staffs should be 6-9" above your elbow, canes should allow your elbow to slightly bend when standing straight. Each is adjustable in height by removing the rubber tip and cutting off what is not needed.

We've found a desert plant that produces a new hiking stick every year! Meet the Daisylirion Leiophyllum. Natives call it the "Desert Candle". From our desert Southwest, it looks like Yucca plant - but produces a bloom stalk every Spring that is 9 - 12 feet tall! These are light weight, but strong enough to be a great light-use hiking staff. Each one has a slight bow courtesy of mother nature. We have a narrow window to harvest these, and only have a select quantity each year.
